Central Wyoming Ranch Horse Team Rides to Podium Finish at NJC Showdown
RIVERTON, WY – The Central Wyoming College Ranch Horse Team continued their impressive season run, capturing a 3rd Place Team finish in their most recent outing at the NJC Showdown in Sterling, CO. Facing stiff regional competition, the Rustlers relied on consistent scoring across the board to secure their spot on the podium.
Top-Tier Performance
The team was led by the powerhouse duo of Kaitlyn Snyder and Addy Wagner, who both finished in a dead heat for 5th Place All-Around.
Snyder’s performance was highlighted by an exceptional showing in the Cow Work, where she took 2nd Place, alongside a 5th place in Reining and 6th in both Trail and Ranch Riding. Wagner matched that consistency, securing 5th Place in Reining and the All-Around, while adding 6th place finishes in Cow Work, Ranch Riding, and Trail.
Roster Depth Secures the Podium
The Rustlers’ bronze finish was further bolstered by gritty performances across the lineup:

Kodie Andersen: Broke into the top ten with a 9th Place All-Around finish, led by a strong 6th place in Cow Work and 8th in Reining.

Sandra Dawson: Rounded out the team scoring with a 20th Place All-Around finish, highlighted by a 17th place in Cow Work.
