Central Wyoming College Ranch Horse Team Dominates Colorado Circuit with First-Place Victory
RIVERTON, WY – The Central Wyoming College Ranch Horse Team showcased its competitive edge and versatility this past October, securing a major team victory and multiple individual titles across two high-stakes competitions in Colorado.
Gold Standard in Loveland
The Rustlers kicked off the month with a powerhouse performance at the Loveland Fall Fest (Oct 2–5). Demonstrating exceptional skill in reining, cow work, and trail, CWC claimed the 1st Place Team title.
The weekend was headlined by Kaitlyn Snyder, who achieved a perfect sweep of her division. Snyder took home 1st Place in the All-Around, finishing at the top of the leaderboard in Reining, Cow Work, Trail, and Ranch Riding.
Joining her on the podium was Addy Wagner, who secured 2nd Place All-Around after a consistent performance, including a 1st-place finish in Reining and 2nd-place finishes across all other categories. Other notable performances included:

Bryn Abbott: 6th Place All-Around, highlighted by a strong 4th in Ranch Riding.

Testing the Waters at the Silver Jubilee
Following their victory in Loveland, the team traveled to Fort Collins for the CSU Silver Jubilee (Oct 17–18). Facing a deep field of competitors, the Rustlers battled to a 6th Place Team finish.
Kaitlyn Snyder continued her streak of excellence, breaking into the top tier once again with a 5th Place All-Around finish. Snyder’s consistency remained her greatest asset, placing no lower than 7th across all four disciplines.
Addy Wagner also maintained a strong presence, finishing 12th All-Around in a highly competitive field. The Silver Jubilee saw expanded participation from the roster:
