Addy Wagner of CWC Ranch Horse Team Selected for Internship with NIRSHA
RIVERTON, WY — Central Wyoming College is proud to announce that Addy Wagner, a standout sophomore on the Rustler Ranch Horse team, has been selected for a prestigious Media & Sponsorship Internship with the National Intercollegiate Ranch & Stock Horse Association (NIRSHA).
Wagner, a Westhope, North Dakota native, was chosen from a competitive field of applicants for the role. The position is a natural fit for Wagner, who is currently studying New Media at CWC with plans to pursue a business degree. Her ultimate goal is to bridge her two passions: marketing and the equine industry.
"Addy goes above and beyond for the team; she is extremely reliable and I can always count on her to get tasks done," said Jori Skaggs, Head CWC Ranch Horse Coach. "Whether it’s helping other students warm up their horses or bringing her camera to practice to capture content for social media, Addy pours her heart and soul into this program. This internship is an incredible milestone for her career."
As part of the NIRSHA team, Wagner will support sponsorship outreach, manage national social media accounts, and collaborate with the sponsorship committee and show managers to create engaging digital content. While much of the internship is remote, Wagner will travel to Amarillo, Texas, from April 13-15, 2026, to provide on-site media coverage and sponsor recognition for the NIRSHA National Show.
The internship offers Wagner the opportunity to gain high-level experience in equine event marketing while continuing her competitive season with the Rustlers. Her selection highlights the quality of student-athletes produced by the CWC Ag & Equine program and the Rustler Ag & Equine Complex.
