The men's and women's Rustler golf teams took a roadtrip to Torrington, Wyoming on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 12 & 13 to compete in a Region IX tournament hosted by Eastern Wyoming College. On the women's side, the teams in attendance were Eastern Wyoming, Otero, Northeastern and CWC. 

Isabell Salas and Cheyenne Ward of the Lady Rustlers continued their masterclass from the previous week, narrowly missing out on another one-two finish by only a couple of strokes. At the end of the two day tournament, they found themselves at third and fourth place, respectively. Tegan Halloran (seventh) had herself another great showing on the golf course, and the Lady Rustler's finished in third place behind Otero college, which was decided by only one stroke.
