RIVERTON, WY – The Central Wyoming College Rustlers men's basketball team faced a challenging week of Region 9 play, showing great resilience in a high-scoring home battle and a competitive road matchup.
CWC Suffers Last-Minute Road Loss Against Western Wyoming
Earlier in the week on February 11, the Rustlers traveled to Rock Springs to face Western Wyoming Community College. In a defensive battle, the Mustangs executed late to secure a 71-68 victory over CWC.
Daniel Smith paced the Rustler offense with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Jordan Peel continued his consistent play with 19 points, while Isaac Patik contributed 13 points.

On February 14, the Rustlers hosted Eastern Wyoming College at Rustler Gym in a contest that saw both teams find their rhythm offensively. A strong second-half performance allowed CWC to overcome a first-half deficit, emerging victorious with a final score of 91-77.
Jordan Peel led the way for the Rustlers with a team-high 21 points. He was supported by a balanced scoring attack that included Tyler Jette's 17 points and a double-double performance from Daniel Smith, who tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds.
