CWC Battles Through Two Tight Region 9 Contests
RIVERTON, WY – The Central Wyoming College Rustlers men's basketball team faced a grueling week on the court, highlighted by a double-overtime thriller at home and a tough road battle against a conference rival.
Rustlers Fall in Double-Overtime Heartbreaker to Gillette
On February 4, the Rustlers hosted Gillette College in an instant classic that required two overtime periods to decide. Despite a valiant effort, CWC narrowly fell to the Pronghorns with a final score of 74-73.
Leading the charge for the Rustlers were:

Daniel Smith: Recorded a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

The game was a defensive slugfest, with both teams fighting for every possession until the final buzzer of the second overtime.
Casper College Holds Off CWC Comeback
The Rustlers traveled to Casper on February 7 for a Saturday afternoon showdown against the Thunderbirds. After a hard-fought contest, the T-Birds secured a 75-66 victory over CWC.
