Congratulations to Laura Ring on being chosen as the Central Wyoming College Student Athlete of the Week!

Ring is a sophomore on the Rustler Women's Basketball team and she comes to CWC from Dunedin, New Zealand.

Ring was selected as the Region 9 Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Week 9, for her performances in leading CWC to wins against conference foes Laramie County Community College & Eastern Wyoming College on January 21 & 24, respectively.

Ring was a standout for the Rustlers, averaging 15.5 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 2 SPG, 3 APG, 2.5 BPG and posting 50% FG, 56% 3FG numbers across both matchups. She is the current leading scorer for Central Wyoming this season, averaging 13.3 PPG.
